This was my first experience of travel after college. Right after graduation in 1966 I decided to go to Europe and Russia on a special Educational Program. It was my start in becoming interested in travel. It was about 8 or 9 days on the SS Groote Beer, NYC to Rotterdam. This program was very interesting and the exchange of ideas we had in Russia was a real eye opener for me. My friend Bob Blair, an engineer from Fairchild Semiconductor was along  on the trip and we were able to re-connect in 2016 ...50 years later to reminisce.
